Now I'm probably gonna get some abuse for saying that I wasn't very impressed with Central Park. But I arrived with high expectations of what I had seen in the movies... and then I realised that in the movies Central park had either been captured as a beautiful snow scene... like Home Alone or on a gloriously sunny day with a bunch of half-naked men and women practising yoga or is it Tai Chi? So to my disappointment it looked more desert like and quite frankly a bit bare. But this could be a bit biased as I am from the Cotswold's, so I'm kinda used to lots of parks and well grass I suppose...
However, two things did put a little smile on my face. Well actually I've just though of another, so three. Firstly, this lovely little squirrel that I captured up a tree.. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for these little creatures.
Secondly, these wonderful men performing a lovely little duet to the passers by...
And lastly, this truly magical moment. I went back to Central Park at night to see the ice skating and thank god I did, because a charming gentlemen proposed to his girlfriend on the ice... It was beautiful. Unfortunately, my photograph doesn't capture the moment too beautifully, but you should be able to spot them!
